Sandbox payments, fabricated customers. No card is ever charged.
- Pick a date, then a time slot.
- Enter any name, email and phone, then Book Now. The slot is held
straight away so nobody else can take it while you check out.
- Square's sandbox opens a testing panel. Click Preview Link first -
that is the real checkout page a paying customer sees, with your line item and the $81.19 total.
Then close it and click Next →
Test Payment to complete the sandbox payment. Sandbox does not serve the card
form itself. Why?
- Open the admin view and watch the slot go
available → pending → booked.
The interesting part: start a booking, then just
close the Square tab without paying. The slot stays on pending - held, unsellable,
and nobody paid for it. That is the problem this system exists to solve, and
how it gets solved. Use Reset demo data on the
admin view to clear it.
